My people are Elementals. We have the gift to manipulate our given element. These manipulations include being able to create it, shape it, channel it, absorb it, merge with it, or regenerate it. We are born with an assigned element; however, it doesn't manifest until our eighteenth birthday.

Ugh, I'm terrified of getting my gift. It's not that I don't want it or want to know what my element is, I'm afraid of not being able to control it and hurting the ones I love with it. If I'm being totally honest, I have a hard time trying to control my emotions, so I haven't allowed myself to get really close with people.
