Crushed Underneath the Surface
For years, I've been writing in silence, creating worlds, characters, and stories that lived only in the margins of my notebooks and tucked-away folders on my computer. Writing has always been my escape, something I've done for myself-a way to step out of reality for a moment and breathe through the lives of the people I've imagined. I've written and rewritten countless stories, always hesitant to share them, never quite confident enough to let anyone else peek into the depths of my mind. It's always felt like just a hobby, something personal, something safe. But deep down, I've carried a quiet dream of becoming a writer, even though it felt a little foolish to hope for something so big. Now, after pouring myself into this story for what feels like a lifetime, I've finally done it-I've uploaded all my chapters to Wattpad, sharing this piece of me with the world. All my life iv been alone. I grew up in an orphanage where my mom dropped me off at 6months and never looked back. She gave them all my documents and told them every month she going to deposit money for my up keep and she did. Every month the nuns at my orphanages will dance like craZy when the money goes through cause that means that our doors will be open for one more month. When I was 5 the orphanage changed it name to Zibusiso Care. My name and we started receiving funding like crazy allowing our kids to go to the best schools in SA that also giving me an opportunity to grow. When I was 18 I had to leave to study and I did go and did communication and bagging a degree. Than on my graduation day which is today, i received a letter of appointment to come for an interview as a project manager to one of the biggest and world known company and am in nerves. Bare in mind iv never applied there. That the story of my life, things just happen for me. Just like how I got a letter of this apartment am staying at, just like how its got furniture to all the things that I love and adore and just like how BMW called for me to fetch my car and I got there its a blue M series just like how my phone rings now and than and I get what I need at that specific time. My name is Zibusiso Mae and this is my story called hidden. In this story we going to laugh, we going to cry and we going to enjoy every moment of it. But mostly we going to enjoy... Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever." My life
I'm 15 and this is My Life. Crazy and Unexpected things happen but I try my best to deal with them. It's kind of a diary type of story but also just first person story telling, confusing I know. But I hope you enjoy reading and hearing about My Life. BTW the characters are all people I really know (except a few) and is based on me a little bit but the things that happen are not.
