#2 in Insurrection
In the 26th century, mankind has taken to the stars and colonized many planets across the Milky Way thanks to a space travel system faster than light known as slipspace. These planets are ruled under the banner of United Earth Government and its military and intelligence arms known as ONI and UNSC which see constant rebellion from Insurrectionists in the Outer Colonies unhappy with the UEG's policies. Enter Ethan 'Striker' Nakamura, a young ODST from Draco with aspirations to become a Spartan, who leads his Fireteam under orders from UNSC to quell these traitorous uprisings, Spartan Alex-193, leader of Fireteam Dragon Claw, tasked with taking out Robert Watts himself, Captain Fiona O'Connor , the Naval officer onboard the UNSC Titanium Dolphin which sets out from Callisto to aid eliminating the fleet of rogue UNSC flotillas bolstering insurgents above Capella, and Tiko Ekwensi, a tanker serving under the Tuskegee 44th Armored Cavalry, as his armored column advances on rogue ONI Contractors bunkered down in Centauri.
These four individuals serving in UNSC's various units are united in their zeal for their service in neutralizing threats to humanity, but once a new threat alien to those seen by humankind surfaces, they will have to put aside their differences and face this existential danger. None have questioned their orders, training, conditioning, and the reasoning behind them until now when not only Earth's colonies are at risk, but humanity itself.

It is the 33rd century, war still rages endlessly, and amongst the stars humanity remains fractured. The Galactic Empire, forged on the carcass of the old Republic, persists with its conquest for complete and unparalleled domination over the vast reaches of the cosmos, and to purge that which they see unfit as they spread their perversion of what the Republic once stood for. While independent rebel forces with their minuscule manpower each push back against The Emperor's cruel regime with all their might, they suffer tremendous casualties and are executed with exceptional cruelty. This new spark of a Galactic Civil War has already lit a fire too big to quell now, and will only get stronger. The Empire already has torn apart countless star systems, the inhabitants either joining the untold billions of the Empire, or being crushed under their heel. To be a man in such times is to live in fear, fear of the unchanging cruelty from the Emperor's iron fist, fear of stepping out of line. There is little hope in the midst of the scent of death and the cruel laughter of Imperial Officers, yet many hold on. Meanwhile in a distant and quiet sector of the galaxy, a planet known as Sylvaris resides, unscorched by blaster fire. Soon however, that will change, as a surviving Jedi has been located by Imperial spies on a planet called Ayidia, living in a nation referred to its citizens as "Forshaan". A young child known as Fletcher Carmine happily lives with his parents and his sister here in a shack in the woods, unaware of how drastically this day will change the trajectory of his life, and the galaxy as a whole. Act 1 is very heavily influenced by The Force Unleashed 1 Act 2 is still in development (Descriptions will be updated as more is written, there will also be a lot of revisions bc I'm always changing shit so my apologies for that)

Nina is captured by parbeing man. He plans to turn her into his pet. He knows she won't go down without a fight, but he's not prepared for how much 'fight' she has packed in her small body. His new pet leaks into every area of his life, changing things in ways he could never have imagined. Parbeings are the new and improved apex predators of Earth. Created from gene editing, they are the perfect humans, so perfect that they are no longer even considered human. *** Content Warning: The protagonist of this story is a victim of abuse. I do not condone the actions of the antagonist *** Chapter 1 extract: "Hey Alex. Get over here. I've got something for you," he calls into his collar radio. I reach the end of the alley and turn to face my foe once again, but he remains where he is, still blocking my path but not approaching either. New plan: when he gets close, duck under his arms and make a run for it. Now I just have to wait. Before a minute has even passed, another armoured soldier appears and joins the first. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. "Are you just going to let her talk to you like that?" he goads Alex. (Complete. 70k words.)
