Police Officer Corey Strickland has the same morning routine. He wakes up, dresses in his uniform, and heads down to the local café for his morning coffee.
Every morning, he tries to ticket Claire Miles, a nineteen-year-old who has a lead foot that is constantly glued to her accelerator. Somehow, he always ends up failing.
Things are about to change.
After an police pursuit that causes Claire to crash before Mid-City's biggest race of the year, Corey Strickland is assigned to care for her. But to keep his career, he must complete a task in three months: Catch and put Triple Digit behind bars.
After attending a race to attempt a meeting with Mid-City's most wanted racer in the hopes of putting her in jail, Corey witnesses a tragic accident with another racer that leads to their untimely death.
But it's no accident, and the Street-Racers of Mid-City are in danger.
Will they catch the murderer, or will the streets of Mid-City run red with blood?
