Karuto No Shinja had lost her parents and had nowhere to go. So when she hears a voice in the night, calling her towards a cabin housing strange people who welcomed her and loved her, she quickly decided that she had found a new family. Though they sometimes spoke an unfamiliar language and often conducted strange rituals. 

By this newfound family, she was taught about the god of the dark. Intrigued by the stories, she became a follower herself, and her new family couldn't have been happier. 

However, many years later, she was caught up in a villain attack, and left for dead. 

But she didn't stay dead. Given new life for her devoutness, she is given a new purpose.

But what awaits this lost soul?
