The Ayre sisters - the latest in a long line of deadly female mercenaries - are starting fresh in the city of Mercy and going down the straight and narrow. They're registered with the Mercenaries, have made nice with the Beast Clan, keep a good working relationship with the Dracyans - the ruling vampire clan, and have declared themselves legal residents with the Paranormal Legislative Council. They've even opened up their own detective and security agency. 

There's a lot of adjusting, a lot of pride swallowing, and in Noraliya Ayre's case, a lot of dealings with an immortal, pig-headed and irritatingly possessive Seer. But they're willing to overlook these minor issues for the roof over their heads, a reasonably stable income, and easily accessible good coffee.  After all, there isn't anything an Ayre cannot overcome or kill if they put their minds to it. 

But one  day, two terrifying minutes heralds deadly consequences and danger that threatens the stability of the new paranormal order and those who uphold it, and the Ayres find themselves fighting an unknown peril for the lives of those they hold dear - not to mention the lives of every other paranormal in the world.All Rights Reserved

If the chapter says 'Chapter' like normal, then you can expect Gwyllomay to be narrating it... as this is mostly his life, after all. Otherwise, if the chapter's title says 'Capitol' then this means that the POV is in the 'third-person's omniscient telling'. This is important, for the writer believes that it is not fun to tell a story without different points of view. As such, Gwyllomay's cannot be the entirety of this story. Alternative Synopsis: Formerly the king of all vampyres, Gwyllomay Polidori now simply wants to settle down for a modern and quaint life amongst the humans who once feared him. Gwyllomay must come to defend his mortal friends from the lesser likes of his kind whilst also fighting off vampyre-hunters who would wish him great peril. Soon enough, however, this dangerous charade of slice-of-life-on-action turns out to unravel itself into an even greater mystery.
