After years of being sold to an unknown laboratory by his father, young Rowan Adler wants nothing more than to be safe in the comfort of their holding cell. Unfortunately for him, the scientists at the lab have..other plans..for experiments like Rowan. Soon enough, fewer children were brought in, and many were taken somewhere, never to return. When Rowan finally starts to investigate, something happened, and the next thing you know, he wakes up in a dark forest with no recollection of how he got there, and what happened to the lab. After coming across familiar faces, Rowan soon figures out that the experiments that died, died for a reason, and the remaining subjects are next on the killer's list. Between attempting to survive, finding the others, and trying to remember their past, Rowan's starting to think their life in that lab wasn't as happy as ought it to be...
(This description sucks but I'll fix it later)
Red Zoned follows the story of a young lesbian trying to survive in the homophobic, post-apocalyptic America after the U.S. attempts to create a super solider and, in turn, creates the start of a Zombie apocalypse.
When convicted for murder, Charlie is given a choice: public execution or the Red Zone. Despite the Red Zone being known for providing a slow and painful death, she opts for the chance to fight for her life instead of facing public execution and it becomes clear quickly that her only chance of survival rests in the hands of others. However, when she develops relationships with the others in her new home, she learns there's more to be afraid of than the flesh eating monsters outside.
Trigger Warnings: Themes of sexual assault and suicide.
