You may be wondering, how do you find your soulmate? Well, it's very luck based. You'll feel unnaturally drawn to the person. To finally find out if you're soulmates or not, you'll have to kiss. Once you kiss them, a beautiful bright light surrounds the both of you, binding your souls together for eternity. Kirishima is a bright and bubbly person who is rarely upset. When he IS upset, he doesn't write to his soulmate. Due to his... rough childhood, he never really wrote to his soulmate until the end of middle school. He constantly doodles on his skin but quickly wipes it away even though the ink is invisible and only he can see it. His soulmate, on the other hand, is a handful. The amount of detail the mark has shows how good their mental health is. Say someone has a extremely breathtaking mark, absolutely stunning. Their soulmate is in mental agony. The more beautiful the mark, the more hurt their soulmate is. Not only will they have a mark connecting them to their soulmate, they can also feel each other's pain. Once both people turn 17, which can take years saying their could be a large age gap, they both can feel the physical pain something could inflict on them. Say one of them breaks their arm, the other wouldn't have a broken arm as well, they would simply be feeling the exact same amount of pain the other is feeling. It's a extremely scary part of having a soulmate since they would be able to feel if their soulmate is being beat but wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Izuku Midoriya is both excited for having a soulmate but also mortified to have one. The boy is abused on the daily and cuts extremely often. The idea of having someone share that pain with him haunts him every night. But it also gives him hope. Hope that someone is out there that could help him get out of the terrible cycle he has begun.
