*Fourth and FINAL book in the HWAJ series*

Louis Tomlinson, now twenty-six, has become a self-centered billionaire five years later after they have broken up. And by they, I mean One Direction and the ultimate powe couple "Loria". Within the five years of Victoria's absence many aspects of Louis' life took a turn for the worse. Louis had become a drug addict, went to rehab and back several times, and started his own company that created millions up until his tragic downfall. Coming out of One Direction the most successful, he sees no need in ever reconciling with people from his past - especially his ex-band members.

Victoria Green, now twenty-five years old still bares the guilt of breaking her promise to Louis Tomlinson. Since she had never returned home after a month as she promised, she thought it would be best if Cheryl, Henry and herself were one happy family living in Southern England. With Cheryl now Henry's adoptive mother, Victoria sees Cheryl as more of a mother-figure than a friend. Victoria's life couldn't be more intact than it is now.

After the opportunity of a lifetime, and one chance encounter, Louis and Victoria are thrown together in an impossible situation with no solution. Tensions rise - in more way than one -, feelings resurface, and memories from the past haunt relationships in the final book of the "He Wasn't a Jerk" series.

"Oh and Vic," Louis paused, looked over his shoulder with a vexed look, "I stopped chasing you when you started running."

⁑⁑⁑ EDITING AS OF MARCH 2019 ⁑⁑⁑ [Winner in the 2012 Watty Awards for Undiscovered Gems]: ★ Read at your own risk. There are major grammar issues, plot holes and probably some really annoying stuff in this book. If you want to read a story written when I was 12, then please proceed. Major editing in process. ★ Eighteen year old Victoria Green has been spending her life trying to mend everyone else's broken pieces back together - but what happens when they begin not to fit? A cheating , absent father with a much younger mistress, a distraught mother who cannot possibly take care of her emotionally damaged self and an unfamiliar new city is more than broken, it's a freaking disaster. A spur-of-the moment decision to pack up and move halfway across England to the small, quaint town of Doncaster in seek of a new life does nothing to piece back together the broken Green household. In an attempt to escape the Hell of her reality, Victoria begins to live vicariously through the older instant messaging website AIM. I mean, no one goes on that thing anymore, right? Wrong. When she meets someone under the name Singingforlife24, she begins to develop dangerous and unsolicited feelings for the person behind the strange, yet soothing username. Conversations that lasted a few short messages turns into an everyday occurrence and before she knows it, Victoria is falling hard for the stranger behind the username. Meeting the town's a**hole wasn't in her plans - nothing was. But as they always say - there's a thin line between love and hatred (of a jerk, that is). "Stop crying baby, we'll be alright." Harry presses his lips against his boyfriend's temple, trying to comfort him. "I don't know if I am able to handle this any longer, Harry. Everybody hates me. They do everything to get me away from you. I've always known I'm not good enough." Louis' beautiful blue eyes are filled with tears, pain noticeable in his voice. "Stop talking yourself down, Louis. You are good enough. You are my whole damn world for god's sake. Not everybody hates you." "Your mom does, your friends do,..." "But I don't, Louis. I fucking love you, isn't that enough?" Harry's voice sounds desperate. This isn't their first argument with this subject. He knows Louis has a low self-image, but honestly Harry can't tell him even more times that he loves him. He does it all the time, shows him every day. "I don't know, Hazza. I honestly don't know..." Harry and Louis are a power couple. They had a rocky start, considering how the boys were arguing all the time in the beginning. But since they have started their romantic relationship, they haven't had even one fight. They survived the long-distance, video calling each other every single day, without a single argument. The boys trust each other blindly and love the other with all their heart. But what happens when Louis arrives in LA? People know about the rocky start of the boys and they are not as forgiving as Harry, for sure not Harry's mother. It's easy to be together when you are surrounded by people that support you, but are they able to survive the hate they will get in America? Or will it eventually be all too much and mess up their relationship...

"Harry, the whole world is in front of you." The younger boy nodded, then let his forehead lean to Louis'. "Yeah, you're right," he whispered. "It is in front of me." ••• Before Harry started university, he created a pretty simple list in his mind: the list of things which could help him survive his first year. Focus on your art studies. Avoid parties. Try to stay out of every drama. At first the plan went quite smooth, but as soon as the first wave of relief sweeped over him, a footballer had to show up and not just cross everything on his list, but also rip it all to shreds and burn up his entire world. Ignoring him wasn't an option; the boy with the cheeky smile looked too familiar to forget. Harry knew one thing for sure: there wasn't a rule he wouldn't break to get the answers for the questions of the past. Even if that meant he had to face with a beautiful mess, called Louis Tomlinson. ••• • completed story • (And the chapters are long af) (It's starting to get quite good from chapter 5, okay) (Please give it a chance lol) (Thank you, love you) WARNING: the story contains swearing, detailed (!!) smut and mentions of homophobia and self-harm, BUT I can reassure you, ((kinda spoiler I guess)) the story will have a happy ending for sure! 2021: #1 toplinson, out of 108 stories #53 larryfluff, out of 718 stories 2022: #1 larrysmut, out of 1,12K stories (crying tf is this achievement, help) #1 toplinson (again, help this is supposed to be a cute story) 2024: #2 louistomlinson, out of 77,9K stories <3333
