3 years ago, your parents decided to move out of Hawkins and live upstate. Since the move, you had felt so empty and incomplete without your beloved best friend, Eddie Munson. One day, out of nowhere, your parents tell you that your family is moving back to your hometown. And you were terrified.
When you and Eddie reunite back in Hawkins, you couldn't be happier. Knowing your best friend still cares after all those years apart. But what happens when you start to get close again, and you find out he changed, permanently. What if this change caused you grief at first, but then left you wanting for more. His love and selfish thoughts towards you grow as he brings you closer to him. He wants you, forever. You could run away from it all, but you don't. He's invaded your mind, your thoughts, your life...
