Theseus was gravely wounded in the attack, and it was only through Straymer's quick thinking and bravery that they were able to escape with their lives.
As they tended to Theseus's wounds, Straymer couldn't hold back his emotions any longer. "Theseus, I'm so sorry," he said, tears streaming down his face. "I never should have let this happen to you.
"I am so proud of you, Straymer," Theseus said, embracing his lover after the battle. "You are the bravest and most amazing person I have ever known."
"And I am proud of you, Theseus," Straymer replied, tears of joy streaming down his face. "I love you more than anything in this world, and I am so grateful to have you by my side."
