A modern Cinderella story... under the sea. Down in the depths of the Pacific, 19-year-old aspiring artist Ella Bentik couldn't care less about fashion, makeup and parties like her older sisters. All that matters is achieving her dream and getting out of this dump. Then she unknowingly befriends the very party host her sisters are always raving about: Genesis Marmoris, a young celebrity with a reputation for being crazy and aloof. Between Genesis' far-fetched conspiracy theories, Ella's inexplicable recurring nightmares, and both of their connections to the land, Ella realizes that there may be more to their relationship than she thought. She begins to question what her true purpose is... and if it's possible to have more than just one. 𓆟 𓆟 𓆟 -Contains strong language and cringey fish puns (Not actually about salmonella, that's just a fish pun)

The sea and the land were never meant to mix. Generations ago, the two worlds were split in half: The sea belonged to the sea folk, and the land belonged to the surface dwellers. Now, with a long-standing resolution in place, they exist side by side, but never as one. It is law. It is tradition. But sixteen-year-old Risa Moriyama has never been one to follow the rules. Drawn to the ocean with a longing she can't explain, she dreams of the world beneath the surface. Of Sea People, of freedom, of a life beyond the one chosen for her. When the tide of change reaches her own life, Risa is left questioning: can she chase the life she craves, or must she surrender to the fate she's originally been given?
