People are able to live longer and healthier with the introduction of robotic limbs and organs. Realistic looking and fully functional robotic limbs are available to humans who have suffered reformatories, amputations and diseases that prohibit the body from being a fully functional system. 
Calliope was in a tragic hovercraft accident when she was a infant that killed her parents and claimed much of her body, leaving only her head, chest and upper arms. However with segregation and discrimination between whole humans and cyborgs, she is treated as a lesser citizen in the North American Empire.

The higher levels of the cities are for the wealthy the lower levels are for the poor. Mass chaos and violence run rampant in the lower levels the UFD try to maintain the peace but with so much going things tend to slip through. The Cyber Sword has access to many technologies but their man power is low, they have droids for low level missions but special detectives know as Cyber swords. Most security is privatized. The company known as CT is the for front of cyber innovations with the exception of privately funded military contracts......
