An old story given new life by collaboration with dear friends. Concerning the Silmarils... Most believe that these three diamonds of truly unearthly quality are the magnum opus and the doom of one of the greatest and worst Elf Lords to ever live. And to most outside observers, that's exactly how it is. But what if I told you that it wasn't that simple? Do we really know all of the circumstances surrounding their creation? How much do we actually know about their maker? Personally, I think the truth was far more tragic than any outsider looking in would ever know. But this story is not about that tragedy. This is the story of what would happen if the crisis was averted altogether. And what would happen as a result in the following millennia. [Technically a Convergence Series Prequel] (Disclaimer: Anything and everything pertaining to the original storylines of both Star Wars and the various published works of J.R.R. Tolkien aren't mine. This is fanfiction written entirely for fun and happily for free; for it is a labour of love.)

"You have to stop." she whispered urgently. "You're placing too much of this war onto your own shoulders, when you have hundreds of men behind you willing to help you carry it." Her words evidently managed to pull his attention back up to her face, his eyes only a little bit wide at her declaration. Underneath his suddenly intense gaze, she felt her throat begin to grow dry. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘰, she wanted to say, but simply could not find the courage to do so in that moment. All credits go to JRR Tolkien and Peter Jackson. I only own Deora and her story.
