Hennessey "Maneater" Benjamin, daughter of Penny Benjamin and Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, gets called back to Top Gun, for an unknown mission. As one of the best in her graduating class, Maneater was an extremely motivated woman, catching the eye of Iceman; the reason for her being called back.

Having gotten her call sign from her agressive nature in dogfights, Hennessey was a force to be reckoned with. Even one that stood strong against Maverick.

Only after finding Maverick sneaking out of her mother's house and Iceman telling her does she figure out where she got her love for flying from. Only between the struggle of finding family, losing people, finding love, and surviving the mission, does Hennessey really find her true calling.
