Visenya Velaryon has lived the stereotypical sheltered life of a Princess for too long.
After the incident at Driftmark, she's finally been made aware of just how unbeneficial her life in Kingslanding is, moving to Dragonstone is not enough, she needs a change so grand people will call her dramatic. She's the daughter of the future Queen and twin to the future King after her, she stands to inherit nothing, no titles, no land, nothing. If she has nothing to gain then she has nothing to loose.
She moves to the North to live in Winterfell under the watchful eyes of the Starks, it is there she begins to find a newfound love for duty as Rhaenyra's daughter and pride in House Targaryen, in the North she builds a name for herself, and she strengthens the unity between the North and the other Kingdoms.
