Only one thing was supposed to happen; Kate Harrison was supposed to arrive in Korea and hold up the fort until her mom came. Things that weren't supposed to happen: 1. Kate changing her clothes because she made the mistake of sitting next to a scared-of-heights, easily-queasy, clammy-hands passenger, who upchucks all over her once the plane takes off. 2. She blames him for the second thing that happens- being moved to a seat next to a self-absorbed, arrogant jerk. 3. And the last terrible disaster, United Airlines supposedly 'perfectly safe' plane crashing in the middle of nowhere. Now Kate's stuck on a remote island with famous actor- and frustrating jerk- Mitch O'Connor who seems to enjoy making her life hell. Hopefully, the two will form some mutual bond before one finally gets fed up of the other and things turn ugly.

Watty's 2023 Shortlister Best-selling author and TV Writer Vivian Jones has been invited to move around the world to South Korea to turn her famous romance novel into a Korean drama series. Tired of her boring life back home, she happily accepts the invitation to change her life, bringing her 7-year-old son and best friend along for the wild ride. Upon arriving to South Korea, she realizes that her status as a single mom won't bring many friends but lots of questions, so she quickly decides to make it very clear to her new coworkers that she keeps her personal and professional lives VERY separate. Keeping Vivian's son private from her coworkers wasn't too difficult in the beginning, but with the charming actor Lee Young-min working by her side to make her show the next big hit, he keeps popping up around her at the most inconvenient times. Which is making it more and more difficult for her to keep her professional and personal lives separate from one another, especially since Lee Young-min seems to find her personal life something he wants to be part of. As their relationship develops more and more, Vivian must decide if she's willing to take a risk on accepting Young-Min's love into her life and far more importantly, into her son's. #1 in internationallove -- 6/20/23
