Once this world was filled with magic and hummed with the might of steampunk industries. Airships filled the sky, cities of bronze spread from horizon to horizon, and even the commoners could learn to control the elements. But the galaxy is a cruel, dark place and those who practiced sciences beyond comprehension did not want to see magic spread to the stars.
The sky fell, giant pillars of glowing steel pulverizing entire civilizations, leaving nothing but desert and bones behind. Abominations known as the Clay exited from these pillars and turned any who survived into corpses and memories. Only one spot of civilization was permitted to remain: The countryside of Annis was spared the attacks the rest of the planet suffered.
Those that survived in this small nation should have been wiped out by the horde of clay that remined, but only faced the smallest and weakest of their number instead. Six hundred years have passed since the falling, and the population of Annis has been allowed to grow, as the Clay toy with them day in and day out. But fate is turning against the remains of humanity. The Clay are growing bored with their little game and seek to finish what was started so long ago...
Monsters of flesh and steel await inside, wars inside the crumbling cities of the old world, fought with the brutal machines of the new. Demons of clay and glass destroyed with enchanted revolvers and lightning swords. Welcome to the land of Annis. Welcome to the world of Ashes

The world is dying. Heaven and Hell have broken and collapsed, creating a post-apocalyptic landscape that is part purgatory, part platonic world of ideas, blighted by the horrors of the human mind. The sun lies dormant in the east, atop God's tower, while the west is plunged into darkness and haunted by all that lives there. There is no day and night cycle, nothing grows, nothing dies, nothing changes, unless magic is involved. Angels hunt creatures for their blood, to feed it to God so he can finish gestating. Humans need not eat or sleep, caught in a state between life and death. They cannot die or be born naturally, but they can be killed and they can be made. The few that survived with their sanity somewhat intact have locked themselves into warded cities, but their protections are feeble and often ineffective. The Order that united them is long gone, broken into factions known only by the sins for which they have fallen. The Houses that protected them are crumbling, falling into ruin as their members were culled down by angels and demons, as well as their own mad quest to save the world; the Pilgrimage, a vain attempt to steal into Eden and murder God himself. Soon, only the Scions will remain. Those that were left not due to merit, but because they were the last choice for being heroes. Those whose memories and minds are as damaged and eaten through as their world. Those who agreed to take on the mysterious Archons within their bodies and, through that contract, had ancient relics and rituals passed down to them. They converge onto a long forgotten neutral ground, trying to save themselves. A heroic journey through a nightmarish wonderland. A pilgrimage to God's tower, to make the world whole again. Concordian of the Two Ends
150 years... That's how long the war has been going on in Equilibria: between the United Federation of Tachyon, a technologically advanced empire, and the Arcane Order of Seirion, a powerful magical empire. This long and unending war of conquest and expansion has led to many suffering in this world, as those who were in between them were squashed underneath the feet of the marching force. Occasionally, some people in this world may obtain resolites, a mysterious white crystal capable of transforming into powerful melee weapons. Although its inner workings and reason for existence are unknown, those with resolites, also known as resolutors, were hunted down by the empires as a key to creating elite warriors enhanced with the power of resolites. One such resolutor was Lorian Ashwood, who had obtained a particularly powerful resolite after his home village, Tragula, was destroyed by a mysterious ray of light coming from the sky, destroying everything in its path, including the soldiers from both empires fighting to capture his village. Nobody, not even the powerful empires, knew who was behind it. Eager to know what happened, Lorian ended up joining an aviator group known as the Strife Striders, and together, they went on a journey across the two empires to seek the truth as they completed a task from the King of Machiaville. In their journey, Lorian got to see the world from different perspectives as he interacted with imperial locals, while fighting against the Imperial forces and authority, who were constantly seeking to capture him for the reason mentioned before. Long ago 555 years ago a great disaster stroke Earthland. Nearly all life was destroyed those years ago between the battle of good and evil. This war broke out with dark, evil and unknown creatures that could turn other races dark and evil along with them. Low level and class creatures were killed by normal weapons but Class C and higher were only killed by ten great weapons made so long ago. Those weapons were the Fairies Gifts. Long ago 561 years ago a young Fairy along with the Queen of Fairies and the Queen of Dragons came up with the idea of making the Fairies Gifts, great weapons that could pure and heal the turned people and kill the high class creatures. These weapons were made in a long six year battle with the weapons with the same welders who all joined together in the Fairy Gift team as the weapons had their own thoughts, voices and lifes. The weapons were picky and would chose their welders as they ended up picking all Fairies as their original welders. One second they was winning the war with evil until that great disaster. After 555 years some parts of races like elves, demons, angels, nekos, humans, dragons were able to live the one race that truly got wiped out in that event was the Fairies themselves. Small parts of these races lived. 555 years and six cities were made with powerful magic shields, fighters and mages to protect them. No one really knew what happened so many years ago but with what parts of history everyone knew they blamed Fairies for letting or even helping evil win but what happened when the new welders find a crystal with a person trapped in it?
