Jaïna is a young hitwoman, a true killing machine trained in Odium, the nation of Fire. After attacking a member of the eight families sitting in Specter, the nation of Wind, she is trapped, imprisoned and accused of a genocide that she did not commit this time.
Released several months later, but nevertheless tired of her criminal activities and in search of redemption, Jaïna chooses to give up her life as a killer after one last contract: she is offered a new race by one of the most influential clans in the nation in exchange for her acquittal and the care of her sister, injured by her fault.
