"Oh my darling, when you smile, it is like a song" - "Obviously," She started. There was a nervous shake in her voice that made me tilt my head in her hands. "Obviously you don't understand the agreement." She repeated after quickly composing herself. I rolled my eyes, but let her continue. "Where you go, I go. Where I go, you go." She told me sternly. Her thumbs grazed my cheeks and heat rose on my skin where she touched. I couldn't tell if this was just Sophia being caring or if she was maybe feeling more. My brain told me that this was all a friendly gesture, but my body and it's stupid hormones were telling me that it was something more. And your brain can never really overcome true instincts. I moved closer towards her, shrinking the already limited space between us. This time it was Sophia's turn to blush which only made my smile grow larger. "She chose you" I turned to look at Noah and frowned my eyebrows in confusion from what he said "what do you mean she chose me?" I asked stepping closer to him. A small smile grew on his face as he stood with his back straightened as always "she saw you at the gathering then told her parents the same night, if they want her to have an arranged marriage then the least they can do is get you to be her wife even if she didn't even speak to you" "She doesn't show her emotions very well but she feels more than any of us" my lips were parted. As there is no reply from him I raised my eyes to see him.He was watching me with intent and slowly his lips curled up forming a satisfying smile.He slowly moved towards me which increased my heart beat and held my hands into his. "Your voice.." He said still staring deeply into my eyes. I gave a question mark expression and he continued "I have heard your voice for the first time in all these days and it's too sweet." He told and laughed intently. "Don't worry princess . Try to enjoy your life. don't hold back yourself. He told and left my hands and before turning back he caressed my hair with his hand with a nod and left to my dad. "Princess" --. This is what my dad calls me and it felt good for some reason when he called me the same.And yes these are my first words since the day I came from college and found all this surprise.
