A short story around 8 or 9 pages I wrote for a school assignment when I was 12. If you like fiction and magic, I hope you'll like 'The Elementals'! Thank you all so much for reading this!
P.S. (Many years later now) I wish my younger self had picked a less generic title... Anyways, I just popped in to say that there are some mechanical errors but overall it's pretty good. Text that had been in a different font or italicized in Google Docs (to distinguish writing, texts, etc.) didn't transfer when copying over, and there are places in dialogue that should have had commas instead of periods, but other than that it's not bad.

Okay, so here's how it all began. Basically, teenagers have been vanishing across the country and no one has the foggiest idea what's going on (myself included). But at the end of the day I've got bigger things to worry about, such as the eternal hell that is the last day of high school and my psychopathic chemistry teacher. I've got enough going on in my life to be worrying about something I can't do anything about. Famous last words Nick. Suddenly I find myself being dragged into a world I apparently belong to and there's a war going on. The light and the dark are scrabbling for control and everything is hanging by a thread. And I'm stuck in the middle of it. So with the help of a few new friends, some new enemies, beasts, monsters and superpowered teenagers, I'm somehow going to navigate this mad new world and hopefully get out on the other side with all my limbs still intact. The Noble Academy has a group of people that are born with special abilities besides the other humans. They are called Elementals. These people are at the top of the school. So far, the known abilities are fire, water, earth and air. These people wear red cloaks and mask to protect their identities. What happens when there is a person that has all the abilities and more? Meet Winter Valentine. She knows what she is and she knows it must be kept as a secret. The elders of the Academy keep a close eye on her. Fearing that she can be a dangerous threat as she controls very strong powers. A dangerous power is approaching and not all the Elements can defeat them.
