The Equestria Girls journey continues!

Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Sunset Shimmer, Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy are the heroes that have saved their school multiple times from total annihilation by wild Equestrian Magic! But currently, it's been several months into their junior year, and all remains quiet on the campus of Canterlot High.

Rainbow Dash is restless, and visceral feeling in her gut continuously warns her that something is terribly wrong. She tries not to bother her friends with her speculations, since they weren't very receptive the last time she tried to tell them that something was afoot...but she can't seem to get it off her mind. And after noticing a magical stranger mucking about suspiciously, Dash definitely can't let it go.

That isn't the only challenge that Rainbow is facing. She desperately wants to be a part of the Wonderbolts, a famous teen soccer team that has had several undefeated seasons in a row. Although she has already graduated from their training academy, at the top of her class, she's only been a reserve since she was a high school freshman. RD begins to believe that she will never be on the team, until she meets one of the most prolific Wonderbolts: charming and friendly Soarin' Skies. Apart from idolizing him, just as she does with the rest of the 'bolts, Rainbow Dash finds herself hoping beyond hope that he will accept her friendship...and perhaps something more.
