It was along boring day in New York, usually some bad guy would come but for the past few days nothing. It worried the young hero, what was going on? Were all the villains joining force to fight Spider-Man? He tried to not think about it, but it was hard not too. He walked alone down the street, his hands shoved in light blue jeans. He was heading his Harry's place to hang since MJ was busy at work. Once he arrived to his friends place he knocked on the door. "Hey, Harry. It's me Peter." he began with a smile. "Do you wanna hang out? Like old times?" he asked softly, hoping for a 'yes'. He waited near the door.Harry opened the door and shot the brunet a grin, his dark blond hair perfect as always and electric blue eyes shining. "Hmmmm, go to that boring business meeting with Menken, or piss him off by hanging out with my best friend for the rest of the day? Do you really need to ask, Pete?" The other teased, but he nodded in reply. He wasn't even in a fancy suit, instead a pair of skinny jeans, a black hoodie and black sneakers. He chuckled at his remark, giving a warm grin to his blonde friend. "Sorry I've been so busy lately, I know it must have been boring since I've been busy with other stuff." He sighed. "But I've been free for a few days and was wondering if you would like to hang out." He smiled. "Anyways how have you been?" He asked.Harry pulled on a pair of sunglasses as they started to head out, shrugging his shoulders. "It's okay, everyone has their own issues to deal with. I've been dealing with the usual: working with Felicia to boost the company's image, taking on my responsibilities while trying to get to Menken on the side. But I'm glad you're getting the chance to breathe; you disappear a lot, was starting to think you didn't like little old me anymore." He said, adding at pout at the end. Only the brunet could bring out his more softer, playful side.

"So we're alone," he said slowly. "That's a thoughtful observation," she whispered. She could feel her fingertips tremble slightly as they clasped around his hair. She didn't know why she suddenly felt so nervous. She moved her hands and allowed her fingers to trail slowly and gently down the side of his face and he involuntarily shivered at her touch. Eventually her fingers landed on his lips and she traced across them softly. They parted slightly and she could hear and feel him let out what she assumed to be an unintentional breath. He moved inwards, his lips pulling from her fingertips to hover near her ear. "I'm a thoughtful person." * After getting accepted into the Healer training program and moving to London, Marlene begins her life outside of Hogwarts. Despite the looming dangers of war, she has a pretty decent life; she has friends who care about her, a boyfriend who loves her, and the determination to keep fighting for a life worth living. But it doesn't take long for Marlene to begin questioning her choices. As the world is falling apart around her, so are her relationships and any certainty that she once had. Except for Sirius; the only certainty she has left in the world. However, war only seems to be threatening to tear them apart. She can't quite put her finger on what has started changing, but something certainly has, and love may not be enough to get her through it this time. It is only a matter of time before Marlene must make the most important choice of all; join the war or fall apart.
