For three months 16 year old Talia has been in a coma. One day the government decides to Nuke the states minus a few scattered towns. Despite being hospitalized the young girl and those close to her make it through the nuking. This is a retelling of Telltale's The Walking Dead. It will involve some of my own characters and I plan to make it span across all 4 games. This first book will be for the first game. I don't expect for this to be a good story as I don't write too often and I just have had this idea for a while and decided to make something out of it. I will try to finish these books as I have plenty of ideas. Also this summary is something to be fixed but until then) A thousand years ago the extermination of Earth from unknown circumstances brought about the end of humanity for the planet. Crimson, a seventeen year old girl faces the verge of adulthood. The final trials being the only gap between her new reality. A new injection to be given to everyone after the trials. She will face the ugly second face of what Zykard really is behind the curtains. Face pain she never thought would be possible and lose what she loves the most. She will understand what it's like to become apart of the Zykard.

BOOK 1 From the moment the Declaration of Independence was signed, there were people who didn't agree with it. This included a small group of politicians who called themselves Chaos. They vowed to someday take over America and start over with a utopian society where everyone would have a common goal. They slowly infiltrated the government, filling it with corrupt leaders. They planned a mass attack on the U.S. on July 2, 2076, Americas 300th birthday. On that day, they assassinated the president and began bombing in New York. Unfortunately, Chaos only had about 200 soldiers so they came up with a technology to implant a chip in the nervous system and essentially control them. So basically, each solider could make a civilian a soldier and the civilian would be forced to fight and make soldiers of their own. The whole operation snowballed and everything went according to plan. Unlike in other stories, there is no hope and the only way to survive is though the CPO (citizen protection organization), created by Benjamin Franklin. It's a system of secret subway tunnels, used to evacuate civilians to safely. Out story begins on July 2, 2076 when the first bomb drops. Madalyn Grace and her friends are caught in this apocalypse and must find away to leave.
