It had been two years after Loki's invasion. The Avengers had all began to settle down at the Stark tower and life went on. Bruce got with Betty. Pepper and Tony had adopted a young troubled teenage boy. Natasha and Clint finally admitted their feeling towards each other. Thor and Jane visited often. And Steve well... he was just Steve.
There were a few excepted bumps along the way. But the next bump in the road was not anticipated. An attempt on Natasha's life was made, an assassin who the team had never heard of before. She was a fourteen year old girl, going by the name of "Red Widow", almost as if she was taunting Natasha. Join the Avengers on a twisting journey to hell and back, in order to save one of their own. *im going to be honest with you, I wrote this book when I was 13/14 and the writing is something I am definitely not proud of but I don't have the desire to rewrite it. Mercedes Stark was the only daughter of Tony Stark. She was very unplanned, and he had her when he was rather young, but he didn't really have to raise her. He had many nannies and such to care for her, but that didn't make the girl care for her father any less. Like her father, Mercedes was rather smart, meaning she could do practically anything with ease. Mercedes graduated college at the age of eighteen, becoming one of the world's youngest doctors. She was actually a certified surgeon, but she also had degrees in other fields to do with computers, medicine, robotics, and things like that. As soon as she had graduated, she was able to get a job as a doctor for S.H.I.E.L.D. Her father didn't know about her job, but he knew she was working as a doctor somewhere. Mercedes kept quite a bit from her father, one thing being her boyfriend. He didn't know of the man his daughter was in love with. He didn't know that the man was almost eight years older than his daughter. He didn't know that the man was an agent for S.H.I.E.L.D.
