Sonic is always willing to protect his friends. From the moment that he helped them, to sparring them, to almost dying to them, he is still, and always will be willing to protect them.

Sonic and Tails have been friends for the longest time. Since they were young, if anything. In any situation, he protects him, and sacrifices himself to  save and help him. He's sustained multiple injuries but, he is always willing to do what he can to help a friend. A very close friend. They both have remarkable power. The kind of power that their Nemesis, Dr. Eggman, wished every day that eh could have. (Not the Friendship, just the Power). They do everything for each, and everyone around them. Nothing can get in between them. Not even Death itself.
