Hi! This is the sequel to my last story, Found Family. Read that first if you haven't read this one! This is mostly fluff (some angst and canon violence) Sergio will be making an appearance. Haley Hotchner is alive and she and Hotch are married but probably will get divorced because they lowkey hate each other lol. No Will. No Henry or Michael. Doyle happened but emily didn't fake her death, morgan killed him and emily (because this is fanfiction and I get to make the rules of logic lol) didn't have any issues with her uterus or fertility from being stabbed in the stomach with a fucking table leg. :) also everything in Afghanistan with JJ yeah none of that happened because I want her to be happy (unlike the CM writers lol) Alright, to the story!!

Hello all, Excited for this story, I would first like to mention that while I am going to stick to the storyline as closely as I can, a few timeline discrepancies may accidentally occur. But the show is full of them, so nothing out of the ordinary. This is about Criminal Minds, so, you guessed it, there will be gory details. However, I won't be going too far into specifics. And I'm not interested in including too much work about cases, unless it relates to the progress of the story. Also, with the exception of long-term UnSubs (like Foyet), I will write original cases because I study psychology and personally prefer reading original cases rather than repeats of episodes I've watched before. A mistaken identity was all it took for a tiny little kiss. A moment blown all out of proportion for the Christian-bred Miss Thompson and her life turns more miserable than she anticipated for every time she turned around...Mitch was there behind her. Something about Mitch was new and fresh and her soul was just what Alex needed (little did she know). Secrets from the past are brought to the surface. A sad ending to a young lady's life. A realisation that family isn't always blood related. Alcohol isn't a medicine. Violence isn't a key. Hearts were never meant to be broken. Two things to take away: you never know what is going on in someone's head and the most important thing...you never know what happens behind closed doors. A/N just a random story about two people who meet accidentally. Plays with gender norms and very inclusive of LGBTQ (being a member myself). Could be triggering I'm not sure as some identity questions are thrown around. It does include smoking, drinking, some homophobia, profanities, violence and smut.
