Violet Andersen and Caitlyn Gram Kiramman are living in WW2 German occupied Denmark in the late fall of 1943. They had each lost their parents during the war, and they had each known of each other, but had never met.
** Trigger warning: brief mentions of violence at the start, this is not the focus of this fic**
It's December and very snowy here so I wanted to share with you all this little wintertime fic. In spite of everything these two share some truly cozy moments. Hope you enjoy!
ps - I do not pretend to know the exact historic facts of this setting. But there were many heroes during WW2 and some were Danes that smuggled their Jewish neighbors safely into Sweden during the last years of the war.

I threw my arm around her. Then lightly grabbed her face as she had done mine before, "shhhh, it'll be ok, I've got you ..." I whispered. I didn't let go... Cover art adapted from @trixdraws and @saskia Starting where Arcane season 1 (Netflix/Riot) left off. We see a romantic take on possible events with Caitlin and Vi after Jinx hurled her rocket at Piltover. Although this follows Caitlyn and Vi closely there's a lot of story development as well that I'm having fun with. Noxus, Zaun... culminating in a massive battle... I loved Arcane. It left off too soon, so I couldn't wait to write a story based on the series. The animations, music and storytelling coupled with emotion from every character was astounding. I'm excited to see the masterful art Riot will have in store for next season. But while we wait here's something to chew on... I'd say this is mature YA (a bit of language) nothing too explicit here. Absolutely loved this series and cannon from the League of Legends world. I may have started playing LoL before it officially launched in 2009 I personally see myself in the 3 protagonists Caitlyn, Vi, and Jinx. Sharing a lot of their strengths and weaknesses. She was a child of a rich family who had secrets. Secrets that seemed to follow them especially her. Secrets that put her at risk. "They want me to hire a bodyguard. A bodyguard! I'm a grown ass woman," Caitlyn scoffed. "Maybe it's for the best sprout. I mean you were attacked not even a week ago," Jayce replied, crossing his legs on her bed. She glared at him harshly before rolling her eyes. "I'm not good with people. And this body guard is going to have to stay with me here? What if I don't get along with them? OR worse they attack me. What if it's some creepy ass guy tryna get in my pants?" "I'm sure your parents wouldn't put a creepy guy in your house. I can't say much about your mom but your dad cares about you. I'm sure he'll choose right."
Killer Queen
(under revision) Caitlyn was the only heir to the throne born because her mother passed away. Left to live in the shadows of her castle, her father only worried about teaching her what he believed was important to rule. He didn't remarry to try for a son, bitter and more powerful than ever. Because he had nothing to lose, not even his own daughter at times. Caitlyn and him drifted apart even more than they were before. Especially as he started treating her solely as an object for his use. Leading her to need some type of escape, some type of fun again. And as her skills in her shot, her strength, and her wit increased. So did her confidence and her will to win, leading her to start sneaking out of the castle gates. Almost every night scaling the buildings and walls to watch the night life in the upper city. Until one night when an incident occurs, causing her to accidentally run into someone. Revealing herself to a complete stranger. Knowing full well that a predicament would arise if that ever happened, she fumbles her way through compromise and bargains to get off easy. But of course, life throws you curve balls and nothing is ever easy. But maybe...maybe that's for the better. ⚠️This is a mature story with mature themes and scenes. Vi studied her for a long moment. "Caitlyn." Caitlyn refused to meet her gaze. Vi sighed, softer now. "I'm single, okay?" Caitlyn swallowed. Vi hesitated before continuing. "But yeah, I... I do love someone." Caitlyn hiccupped, rubbing at her eyes furiously. Vi reached for her, concerned. "Caitlyn, why are you-" "I knew it!" Caitlyn blurted, voice wobbling. Vi blinked. "Knew what?" Caitlyn sniffled. "You do love someone! And-and now I have to compete with them?" Vi opened her mouth-then shut it, utterly baffled. "I-what?" Caitlyn grabbed Vi's hands. "Just-just love me instead!" ---- Caitlyn Kiramman has everything-fame, fortune, and a career that keeps the world watching. (I don't know much League lore so bear with me!) Vi and Caitlyn finally have the chance at a good life with each other, but Caitlyn suspects something her mourning partner doesn't. After scanning the maps, it's perfectly plausible that Jinx, Vi's sister could have evaded death. If Jinx and Vi reunite, it could make Vi completely happy, but Caitlyn fears that Vi will die searching for Jinx. Mel has taken her mother's place. She never thought that her, the just, refined, former Councilor of Piltover, would run such a warlike place like Noxus. She thinks that maybe, if she tries hard enough, the people can possibly incorporate peace in their morals. Sevika thought that her little family would last, but she was horribly mistaken. Losing both Isha and Jinx, on top of the stress of being a Councilor, has taken its toll on her. She can't bear to find people she connects to in fear of losing them as well. Jinx is alive. Not well, but alive. She barely escaped the blast of her grenade with her shimmer-induced speed, dragging her heavily injured body through an air duct. Now, she's all alone again, inside of the tunnel systems. She doesn't know where to go, scrounging for scraps and barely making it through each day. Ekko's returned to the Firelights, but a change has occurred. He had started to mend his relationship with Jinx, and after the news of her death hit him, he stopped finding joy in things. The young Firelights playing, the sunlight streaming through the tree, his hoverboard, all things that used to put a smile on his face, just seem to remind him of Jinx. Jayce and Viktor are stranded in space. The blast from the Arcane destroyed their mortal forms, and now only their celestial bodies remain. They travel to different universes now, helping people when needed, or just talking about their memories together. The whole cult-exploding put a rift in their relationship, but they are mending and expanding it slowly.Complete
