Kya has been running from a past that will sooner rather than later, catch up to her. She doesn't care if anything were to happen to her, but if someone so much as touched a hair on her daughter's head she would put a bullet in their head. She's done it. Her whole job revolves around killing, but she makes sure only one other person knows exactly what she does.

Revenge is best served cold. At least that's what people say. Kya will get her revenge. But nothing about it will be cold.

And when she is looked over by a trained bodyguard, her best friend's brother no less, a hard headed man in a fancy suit. Who just so happens to think everything he commands her to do will be done without any sass, she then has to swallow down the urge to not put him six feet under. And it doesn't help that he's become best friends with her daughter.
