Jade Winnox is 16 when her life changes forever. Walking home from school- she stumbles upon a murder scene. Right when she is about to call 911, she's stopped by the murderer himself. After being missing for a week, she's dumped back at the murder site. Having been framed- she goes to juvie. At 18, it's prison.
With the odds against her, Jade tries everything in her power to prove that she is innocent and not the murderer. A sadistic guard, a criminal overlord and a mysterious inmate all have their eyes on Jade. They also have their own ulterior motives for having an interest in Jade.
Jade has almost no chance to get her freedom. But maybe with the right allies and determination she might have a small chance. One almost not even there. But a chance is a chance to Jade. And what does she have to lose?
