I walked over the dark passage trying to find a way to the top floor. My footsteps echoed as I kept looking. At this point, for some reason, my fingers began to go numb and I shudder as a feeling of dread came over me, not to mention how chilly this place was getting. It was all too real. Of course, I was dumb enough to ignore the warning signs and kept going.
