Florence is an average teenage high schooler, at least he thinks so. He's not one to have many friends but he makes do with the ones he has. He's not a perfect student nor one that fails his classes. He lives with his aunt as his parents are rarely if ever at home.
That all changes when it seems that bad luck takes a hold of him. Everything from rumors about stalking to him being forced to come out of the closet before he's even sure of what his identity is himself. He slowly loses both his reputation and mind.
But throughout it all, someone sends him flowers. Wherever he is, the flowers find him, and he's both grateful and curious.

Little does William know that this trip will give him more than just inspiration. This LGBTQ+ story takes place in the 1890s. It handles topics about family trauma, the death of a loved one, manipulation, homophobia/slurs, and long-distance romance, but it also tells us about values, symbolism, friendship, and romance. This story, which started as a short story to pass the time while I procrastinate, has become something greater than what I expected, but I have found the motivation to see it through as a fully-fledged novel.
