He did not have the strength to continue going on missions with the government to stop the remaining Toppat Clan members. But when a new threat arises, Ellie had to get him back into the game. However, during the time Charles spent with Henry, they felt a special bond with each other, and that special bond did not end when Charles passed away. He became Henry's guardian spirit, still going on adventures with him.
