The year is 2030. The United States of America is enjoying a relative peace time. While there are still tensions around the world, the U.S. has managed to avoid any major conflicts. That was until a mysterious medieval-looking structure appeared out of nowhere in the middle of Washington D.C. Suddenly, the nation's capital is under attack by a medieval-style army and creatures only seen in fantasy stories. This mysterious army, however, soon realizes that they stepped on the dragon's tail. This story is based off the anime/manga series, Gate, but follows a different storyline and characters. I do not own Gate, but the story and characters in this story are mine.

1940, two years after a brutal civil war that saw the return of Kaiser Wilhelm II, the revived German Empire has become the most dominant military, economic and technological power in most of Europe, having reformed the Central Powers and conjured major technological advancements that would change the world forever. But just as a second world war was approaching, an enormous magical gate has opened up in Berlin and what poured out was an army of armor-clad warriors and mythical monsters from another dimension that attacked the city, with a man who was leading them naming it the "New Arthurian Province." The attack was repelled, but the gateway, dubbed the "Gate of Dimensions," remained in Berlin. The Kaiser, fearful of future attacks, mustered a massive army of tanks, infantry, armored dogs, and supersoldiers to investigate the other side of the gateway. What they came across is a world ripe with magic, an abundance of natural resources and otherworldly forces that exist within.

A mysterious, ancient-looking gate appeared in Washington, D.C., sometime in the 21st century. From the gate poured out monsters, knights from medieval Europe, and other fantasy-like beings, and they began a systematic slaughter of the citizens of the U.S. capital, laying siege to the White House. For the first time since the War of 1812, the streets of the United States became a battlefield. Due to their unrestrained arrogance, the Empire of Sadera immediately sought to claim the lands on the other side of the gate. However, they would soon realize just how inferior their own military truly was. Once the U.S. military mobilized, they attacked the invaders with their advanced technology, forcing only a thousand of them to retreat while killing or capturing the rest. This unprovoked attack on U.S. soil, not seen since September 11th, 2001, would be known as the "Washington Incident." In retaliation, the U.S. government sends the United States Marine Corps to the alternate world beyond the gate, thus beginning the American-Saderan War. We will follow certain groups of people from both the nations of Earth and the kingdoms of Falmart to set the stage for the bloodiest conflict Falmart has ever seen.
