Twenty-four year old Elio Mancini is arranged to marry twenty year old Lynette. She's older than most girls who marry into the mafia because of being unfit to be a mafia wife. Elio's' father believes that if she can be 'tamed' into passiveness by Elio, the Mancini's powerful reputation for controlling everyone around them can be maintained.
Obsessed with gardening and anything that isn't to do with being apart of the mafia, Lynette is constantly looked down upon as rude and uncooperative. After a scare, she decides that she'll be the opposite of the usual weak mafia wife by training and getting involved with her husbands business. As Lynette and Elio's bond becomes stronger, Elio soon realises that he loves Lynette as she is. Untamed.
