Alastor meets Angel Dust on his first night in Hell, though only for a few minutes. He finds the spider demon to be more interesting than the rest of the people around him, despite Angel's not so angelic personality. As time flies by, the two gradually forget their brief encounter. That is, until Alastor shows up at the Happy Hotel to strike a deal with Charlie.
