In a life where I'd be safe in one moment and on the brink of death in another, I realized that he was the only force that could ground me. Of all the people in the world. My volatile co-worker. My menacing rival. My mission partner to save the world: Katsuki Bakugo.
We're bound to a fluid existence, where ripples in the river of time can roll into unstoppable waves of decision. When the rise of a terrorist organization threatened to bring back Shigaraki's quirk from the dead, me and that blonde-idiot were tasked with travelling up to the Northern mountains, searching for a hidden laboratory in the snow, and stopping what could be the fate of hero society once again.
I thought we were ready. If only I accepted sooner that time is fickle. And that the memories we make with others are more precious than we think.
