Vance Hopper always had a troubled life at home. His dad was a abusive alcoholic and his mom was a drug addict. His friends knew about it, and they felt bad for him. So, they tried their best to help him to try and forget about it. They'd ask if he wanted to stay at one of their houses for the week, or weekend, or just something like that. But their was one friend that helped Vance more than the rest of them. It was Bruce. Bruce Yamada. He would help Vance shop for clothes, let him stay over all the time and would help him with school, too. Bruce's parents didn't like Vance, knowing his past, but they knew Bruce liked him, so they tried to help him as much as they could. After about a month of this, Vance basically started living with the Yamadas. But he noticed something a bit.. off about Bruce. He was way nicer to Vance and didn't treat him just as a friend...
