In a world where magik has been banned for the last 70 years, black markets are blooming in the wake of a brutal war that ravaged through the lands. 10 leaders meet to discuss the aftermath of the war, each seeking to influence Queen Laurel of Eileria to their sides. 
Laurel discovers that she has the magik that she fears most, and pressure on all sides leads to her disappearance. 
Rumors fly as the whole world searches for the lost queen. With war yet again on the horizon, Laurel must learn to control her new powers and take back her throne before it is taken from her forever.
