After Dingo's death at Dawn's first battle, Dawn didn't feel any better even after his death. Until she met a Skywing, alone and together, out in the dunes, and giving into this trusting feeling towards him she and her new friend set off on a course to a new life, away from their place and to their new and actual home. And deep in the sea, there was a Seawing dragonet, with her own opinions than others. As her friends and family all supported Blister for the war, Hurricane herself didn't trust Blister, the most scheming of the three Sandwing sisters. She believed that the Sandwing princess hid more plans behind those glittering obsidian-black eyes, some that could put their own Seawing tribe at risk.
