Aru Shah is a vampire. A real vampire, and she works for the Otherworld Resistance with her sisters, Mini and Brynne. The three are known as the Harbingers in HQ, and as Strike, Reaper, and Windbreaker on the field.

When a ransom mission is interrupted by the Sleeper's rise, Aru and her sisters are thrown into a world of kidnapping and arguments. But, as with everything, they still have a duty to do.
