A sorcerer named Ink is called upon to a dangerous mission. He was sent to the forest by his friend Dream himself. He learns to find many enemies and dangers. Especially the Guardian of the Powerful Artifact. He must retrieve it to protect his kingdom and stop Nightmare's rein.

The both of them create a close bond, and Nightmare explains how the villagers mistreats him and how they treasure Dream. Ink knew Dream for awhile, but Dream never mentions Nightmare.
