The holidays have just started, it's late July, and Layla has just woken up in a hospital bed with no recollection of what has happened. She's ill - very ill. The doctors say she shouldn't even be alive. But Layla feels more alive than ever.

YEah, basically, despite what it may seem, this IS a vampire story. Just not the typical kind. This story is the first part of two. (For what I have planned) If people like them, there will be more.
