".....I told you once, I will never fight again. I've done that for a millennia, no more!" The man roared, throwing the figure into the wall, cracking it
The figure tried so hard to get up, but couldn't. Instead, they unsummoned their body and reappeared good as new.
"Let me finish. You won't be on the frontlines, but a Commander-"
"I don't fit the Commander role, that was Zavala's job. I'm merely........

The war with the covenant has driven humanity to the brink of extinction, the outer colony's have been glassed and the UNSC navy has been reduced to a fraction of what it once was. But there was hope, with the discovery of a forerunner relic that could turn ships into men with the full power of the ships themselves. A Destiny 2 fanfiction. Part 1: New Light. When the Traveler arrived, a spherical deity with paracausal powers known as the Light, humanity prospered and thrived.
