Caracalla sends his most trusted General, Marcus Acacius to Alexandria to fetch his bride. On the journey to the city of Rome, Cassia finds herself dreading her marriage to the Emperor and falling for the General.

LUCIUS VERUS AURELIUS was the lost prince of Rome. He knew rage from a young age. He fought to protect Numidia, but he lost. He lost his home, he lost his friends and he lost his wife. He would kill General Marcus Acacius in revenge. But he never tought of falling in love with his daughter. SHE was raised with love. HE was raised with rage.
