                                                                                                                         “What?”

Laney and Edan didn't know anything about each other. In fact, they had never given a word to one another, even though they had been classmates for as long as they could remember. Only their eyes spoke to the other with short stares.

Laney, had always been more like a wallflower girl at school. But she wasn't the girl everybody thinked she was. No, there was more to Laney than what met the eye. Her mysterious ways with the other kids at school was what grabbed all the boys attention, but for some reason, she wasn't an easy catch.

Edan, the outgoing guy that was always messing around with the girls, he wasn't the sexy guy at school. No, he just had to be the cute guy with the dreamy eyes that made all the girls bite their lips. But, there was more to him than his looks. Edan had a past that always followed him around. Scars that no one had seen and secrets never been told.
