Sam Riviera lived life the only way he knew, behind a mask. A mask of normalcy to better hide that which the world hated; inhuman powers. People who have such powers are referred to as, "Horrors", and are hunted by the government for experimentation and containment. The man behind the Horror propaganda, is Dr. Nevil Karlsson, a leading geneticist who is hellbent on understanding and destroying the threat that hides in society.
One day, Sam, against his better judgement risks it all to save someone. Now finding himself on the run, he has to navigate through dangers just to find the place rumored to be safe for Horrors. He'll meet new friends along the way and learn how to survive in his new life. But with danger lurking around every corner, and things not as they seem, can Sam and his friends really get what they want or will everything come crashing down?

They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
