Na'akway's story with Tsu'tey has been completed, it has become more directed towards her daughter, Ixtal.
Changing point of views throughout the book, but not quite much, seeing how this book, Tarya, is no longer the point of view of Na'akway. But her children, and their experiences with, The Way of Water.

His life had been blessed with a beautiful girl they named Raeya. "Take me away from here," she whispered quietly. Neteyam lifted his head away from hers and looked at her. "Away? What do you mean?" He was confused by her words. But she just looked at him and placed both her hands on the sides of his face.
