The Black and White Diary of Aby Hart(BWWM)

Imagine ending up in Boston at Shams' bedside, out of promise to his sister and your best friend, even though he is the same ex black fiancé who dumped you the night before your wedding-not for Jessica, the white girl he was living with at the time you were dating, but under the pressure of his Crow Jim/Voldemortish mum. Imagine again your carry-on luggage being John, your actual white territorial atheist concubine: he has insisted to come with you all the way from New York to make sure that seeing your ex will not throw you back into the deep throes of misery he pulled you from, and, withdraw you from your promise of marrying him in a week. Finally, imagine meeting Jessica (also visiting her ex on his death bed), having an unusual friendly crush on her and you guys BFF-ing: this is the story of Aby, a nearing-thirty brown Muslim girl.
