Ophelia has heart cancer and was diagnosed at 17 years old she is now 24 and bored with her life stuck in 4 hospital walls. She has always dreamed of traveling the world and currently writes a blog about cancer. One day when moved to the triage floor due to a rupture she meets a race driver called Nathanial who was in a crash in one of his races he is conscious but not doing well when he first meets Ophelia. After meeting this curious girl Nathanial googles her and finds her blog and then falls in love with her via her writing. However, she is different in person than what her words project. The two unlikely pairings start spending time together and a beautiful companionship blossoms from both of their misfortune out of life

That is, until he met the optimistic Ophelia Jackson. After one day in detention, the both of them decide to make a deal. If she could make him feel worthy of being loved, he needed to stop acting like a pessimist. Will they stay focused on their bet? Or will love come in between when they least expected?
